Post Cyber-Monday Funk

Yesterday I grabbed Cyber Monday by the horns and blazed a trail across the Internets. I researched, I analyzed, I clicked and I purchased. And I saved lots and lots of money. I was damn near giddy yesterday evening when I told my husband about all of my shopping successes.

So, I was on the computer for six straight hours but you know what? I am done with my holiday shopping. That’s right. Done. Finished. Fini. And it feels good.

What doesn’t feel so good is that I’m actually quite tired today. What is up with that? I didn’t have to fight off any crazed woman with pepper spray, nor did I have to wait outside in the cold and dark of night before my store of choice opened. I was comfy. I elbowed no one. I hardly burned any calories sitting on my behind all day. But I’m a little bit worn out. Ridiculous!

Oh well. It’s November 29th and I’m sitting pretty regarding the whole holiday shopping thing. Can’t say the same for NaNoWriMo.
