Mother's Day in Boulder
We spent Mother’s Day in Boulder this year with Kevin’s mom and dad. Wow – what a wonderful day!
Mmm…mmmm…and more mmmm
We started at Salt Bistro. If you haven’t been to Salt Bistro in Boulder, please do yourself a favor and get thee there! We’ve dined there on numerous occasions and I swear it gets better every single time. Like fresh, local ingredients? Done. Prefer a veggie meal? No problemo. Like deliciousness and more deliciousness? You will not be disappointed.
I won’t recommend any one particular entree as there are so many good ones it just wouldn’t be right to narrow it down. But I will suggest this – please do try the dark chocolate salted caramel tart. I’ve tried to order other desserts when we’ve dined at Salt Bistro but I just can’t do it. This one has my undying fanitude. You can find out more about Salt at http://saltboulderbistro.com
Post Salt we did some walking and browsing on the Pearl Street Mall and then cooled off with a beverage during happy hour at the Chop House. That is an excellent happy hour, I must say. I wished I’d been hungry because not only are the drink deals rockin’, the dining deals are rockin’ too. You can check it out here.
We had a really wonderful day in Boulder. I’m happy to say that I’m blessed with fantastic in-laws – I actually enjoy spending time with them! I’m a lucky girl.
