Wow, wow, and more wow!

I mentioned in my last blog post that I'd been selected by Rocky Mountain Fiction Writers as a finalist for the Independent Writer of the Year award. Well, on Saturday, July 15th, I learned I won the title.

Wow!

I've been thinking about how to put into sincere and honest words how honored and humbled and amazed I feel about this award, but I've come to the conclusion that I can't do it. Yeah, I won an award that revolves around me being a writer. And yeah, I can't find the right words. Everything I type sounds trite or cliché or canned. But I so don't mean it that way.

I am TRULY honored and humbled and amazed!

Thank you, thank you, thank you RMFW members. I promise I will continue to work hard, write hard, and give back as hard as I can.
