What's in a Name Change?

Some of you may have noticed my name change from Wendy Terrien to Wendy M. Barnhart. What’s up with that, you may ask? The simple answer: Divorce.

The longer answer: The entire experience had all the elements (frankly, probably too many elements…) of a tension-filled dramatic tome. And it’s a story that shan’t be told here. But, it’s highly likely elements of it will be portrayed in future novels… Of course, it won’t ever be spelled out as “this happened to me!” But I will definitely used what I experienced to add emotional drama to future novel.

Speaking of emotion, I’m doing great. I’ve experienced a rebirth of sorts, blooming back into my true self, discovering how locked down and sad I’d been without fully realizing it. I certainly mourn what was lost, but I’m relishing the growth, and the return to happiness in my day to day life.
