NaNoWriMo

So, yes, I’m doing NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month) this year and this will be my third attempt. The first time I tried it, 2009, it was a last minute kind of deal and I really had no idea what I was doing. I just started writing. And then I stopped writing shortly thereafter.

Last year I tried again. Having fully committed myself to the whole writing thing, I thought it would be a great challenge and I was excited to see what I could produce. Then I came down with bronchitis. And I stopped writing shortly thereafter.

Karma and Kindness

I saw this posted on Facebook a few weeks ago and it has really stuck with me. I’m a firm believer in “be nice to everyone” and I’m a firm believer in karma. This could lead to a deep discussion and I’d love to hear what others think about this “what goes around, comes around” thing, but I’ll spare my preaching in this post.
